The 13th Annual Shop With a Cop Golf Outing is scheduled to take place on Friday, July 31, 2026, at Whisper Creek Golf Club in Huntley. Shop with a Cop is currently seeking sponsorships and in-kind donations to support our raffles, silent auction items, and door prizes.

Money raised at the events benefits underprivileged children from the Dundee Township area during the holidays and in extraordinary circumstances, such as house fires. Our program was founded on building relationships with these children to show them that the police are here to help them and their families.

For more information about these opportunities and how you can help make a difference, please contact Det. Maculitis ([email protected]) for more information, or visit the link below!

Last Wednesday evening, Deputy Chief Ritter, Officer Watson, and Officer Kasiba attended the Kane County Chiefs of Police Association Memorial Ceremony alongside officers from police departments across Kane County. The event, held in Mooseheart, honored those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty while serving their communities.

This ceremony serves as an important reminder of the dedication, courage, and service of all who wear the badge, as well as a tribute to those we will never forget πŸ’™

As the weather warms up, many of you have likely noticed an increase in motorbikes and e-scooters around the village. While these can be fun modes of transport, safety is of utmost importance.

The popularity of e-bikes, scooters, and other micromobility devices is growing, and unfortunately, so are the number of injuries. In 2024, the CPSC reported 118,485 injuries related to these devices. Remember, a safer ride starts with you.
