*Regional Training Night cut short by Multi-alarm Commercial Building Fire*

Wednesday evening fire companies from Claysburg, Duncansville, Hollidaysburg, Geeseytown, Roaring spring and Martinsburg gathered at our station with the Everett Railroad to go over Train emergencies and safety. We would like to thank Everett Railroad for coming out and putting on this training class for us.

Unfortunately about a half hour into class, Blair 911 dispatched a Commercial building fire at the Cove Mountain Wood products business along cove mountain rd Taylor Twp. Crews responded from our station seconds after dispatch. Engine/Tanker 40 w5, Engine/Rescue 40 w6, and Tanker 40 w2 responded. Crews arrived on scene with heavy fire showing, E/T 40 set up 2 portable dump tanks and supplied E-20 & E-60. Tanker 40 hauled water in the tanker shuttle, and E/R 40 staged on scene and crew went to work. Crews were on scene for approximately 5 hours. Fortunately no injuries reported. Great work by all mutual aid on this large incident.
