Congratulations to Forrestdale School in Rumson for being selected as a National Blue Ribbon school! The Blue Ribbon Schools Award recognizes those schools’ exceptional students and educators and their ability to serve as a guide to an effective learning environment. As one of the 356 schools that received this designation this year, the Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners is excited to recognize the hard work of Forrestdale School’s students, staff, administration and parents.

Congratulations to Neptune Township Superintendent of Schools Dr. Tami Crader for being chosen as Central Regional Superintendent of the Year! Dr. Crader is in her 10th year as Neptune Township’s superintendent where she leads a Pre K-12 district with 3,500 students. She continues to work collaboratively with the Board of Education and staff members to improve academics and boost overall student achievement. On behalf of my fellow Commissioners, we congratulate her upon earning this prestigious honor.
