Due to uncertainty with the weather this evening, the Griggs Park Playground Grand Opening has been rescheduled for June 24th. Don't forget to mark your calendars, because you won't want to miss this!

Summer is almost here! Sherlock Park Pool will open on Thursday, June 4th at 1p.m. ☀️

Season passes, private rentals, and punch cards will also be available to purchase beginning then, as well.

Come out and support EGF baseball!

Join us for a day at the ballpark as we come together to honor a special legacy, support our local community, and celebrate youth baseball in East Grand Forks. ⚾

In the spirit of getting kids involved and making memories, we’re also hoping to have kids run the bases during the event—so be sure to bring the whole family and come early!

Finally, we're collecting donations for the local food bank during the event. If you’re able, please consider bringing one or more of these most-needed items: condiments (ketchup, mustard, ranch), canned tomatoes / tomato sauce, canned ravioli, cooking oils, canned vegetables, beans, and soups, canned meats, pasta noodles.

Thank you for helping us make this a fun and meaningful day for the community. We hope to see you at the field! 💚

🇺🇸 This Memorial Day, we at EGF Parks and Rec and Resurrection Cemetery are honored to help remember and celebrate the loved ones laid to rest who served our nation.

With that, we would like to inform the public of a few reminders as we prepare for Memorial Day weekend.

Our Parks & Recreation Department still has trees available for berm planting throughout the community, and we’re looking for East Grand Forks residents who would like a tree installed near their property.

Trees help beautify neighborhoods, provide shade, improve air quality, and make our community even more enjoyable for years to come.

If you’re interested in having a tree planted on your berm, please call 218-773-8000 by May 22nd to be added to the list.
