Come dunk some great people for a great cause.

Our Dunk Tank Line Up has been finalized! Every year at the EGF Showcase we have a dunk tank where people can dunk a local official/celebrity for a donation of $5 or at least two non-perishable food items. All donations go to the East Grand Forks Food Shelf! This year's victims - I mean volunteers - will be waiting to get dunked at the following times:

5:00 - 5:15 PM - EGF Mayor Mark Olstad
5:15 - 5:30 PM - EGF Fire Chief Paul Hansen
5:30 - 5:45 PM - EGF Public Works Foreman Josh Krostue
5:45 - 6:00 PM - EGF Public Works Employee and Blackjack Motor Sports Driver - Jack Croaker
6:00 - 6:15 PM - EGF Parks and Rec Director Jorgen Erickson
6:15 - 6:30 PM - EGFPD Corporal Justin Roue
6:30 - 6:45 PM - Polk County Sheriff's Office Chief Deputy Mike Norland
6:45 - 7:00 PM - Blue Moose General Manager Casey Morin

Don't forget, Downtown Horns takes the stage at 7:00 PM and will be playing until 9:00 PM! It's shaping up to be a great night!

Yesterday, our members geared up for specialized Confined Space Rescue training!

From tight entry points to low-oxygen environments, confined space incidents are among the most challenging technical rescues we face. Success requires precision, teamwork, and continuous practice.

We train hard every day so we are always ready for whatever call comes in next.

A couple weeks ago we honored the past while looking forward to the future. Current members of the fire department met with members of yesteryear to sit down for a meal and good company. We also want to take this moment to honor our significant others, we could not serve this community without your support.
