Today was Field Day at South Point! Students had a variety of fun activities to participate in and enjoyed beautiful weather throughout the day.

A huge thank you to Mr. Nagle, Mr. Moffitt, and Ms. Rodriguez for all of their planning and organization. Thank you as well to our students, parents, and PTO for helping make the day so special and for providing cool treats for everyone to enjoy.

Our Good News Call of the Day is for Finley Gemar. He was nominated by our library para Mrs. Rodriguez and here is what she said about him: "Everyday at the end of library, Finley pushes in all the chairs to make sure that the library is in order for the next class. He does this everyday without being asked. Even helping out in the smallest way is much appreciated!"

Sudais Farah is our Good News Call of the Day. Our secretary, Mrs. Phelps, nominated him and this is what she said: "Sudais had been lying down in the nurse's office not feeling well. Another student came in sick and Sudais came out and offered the other student his cot so they could lie down. He was so kind and caring to this other student who was not feeling well. Great job!"

Maverik Omdahl is our Good News Call of the Day. He was nominated by our music teacher, Mr. Moffitt and here is what he said about Maverik: "Maverik has been a rockstar helping a new student. Whenever we are doing something new, Maverik has been right there helping him out. It’s been so refreshing to see such kindness and responsibility from a student and he's only a third grader."

Today we were entertained by the CMS Jazz Band and Pop Singers. Thank you to Ms. Loer and Ms. Larson for sharing their talents with us. Our students and staff truly enjoyed the performance and the opportunity to experience such wonderful music. Great job to all of the performers!
