It is with great sadness that we mourn the passing of longtime Lion Frank Kehoe. Frank was dedicated and active member of our community, always showing up to service projects with a smile, a kind word, and a pair of helping hands. Whether it was packing holiday baskets, running the tag sale at the auction, selling trees, or chairing the annual golf tournament - Frank always went above and beyond and truly embodied the Lions Club Motto: "We Serve".

It was truly an honor and a pleasure to work alongside such a genuine and warmhearted soul. We will miss his delightful sense of humor and kind words of encouragement that he brought to every meeting.

The East Haddam Lions would like to extend our most heartfelt condolences to Frank's family and friends, and express our gratitude for Frank's tireless work ethic and limitless generosity that he shared with us for so many years.

East Haddam Leos are handing out free pumpkins for their annual Pumpkin Walk right now (10/22) at Nathan Hale Plaza until 4pm (or while supplies last)!

East Haddam Leos Ninth Annual Apple Festival is tomorrow!
Looking for a family fun way to spend a day this October? Then the East Haddam Leos’ Eighth Annual Apple Festival is the perfect event for you!

This fundraiser will be held on Sat. October 9th from 10:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. at the Grange Hall (488 Town St). Admission is free! There will be various apple themed lawn games, a bake sale, a photo booth, and much more! While you’re in the area, check out the Book Sale inside the Grange, or the Quilt Show across the street.

All proceeds raised will be donated back to the community.
Bring the whole family to celebrate this annual fall tradition!

A great group of young people doing awesome things for their hometown. If you know any tweens/teens in East Haddam, this is a fun way to build community service for college applications.

Their next meeting is Thursday at 7pm at the Senior Center, it's a great time to stop in and see what the Leos are all about.
