The East Hampton Town PBA is proud to congratulate the students who completed last weeks East End Youth Police Academy. Throughout the week, students entering grades 8 through 12 participated in hands-on training, demonstrations, and exercises designed to provide an inside look at the many responsibilities and challenges of a career in law enforcement.

We are incredibly proud of this first graduating class and hope this experience inspires the next generation of community leaders and public servants.

More big moves as the East Hampton Town Police Department continues to level up!

At tonight’s Town Board meeting, PBA members James Gesa, Jack Bori, and Luke Plitt were officially sworn in as Detectives, while Nick Kochanasz was sworn in as Sergeant.

In addition, last week Kerri Donlon and Javal Staton were sworn in as police recruits and will begin their training at the Suffolk County Police Academy later this month.

Congratulations to all on these well-earned achievements. We wish each of you continued success and the very best as you begin this next chapter in your careers serving East Hampton Town.

We would like to thank Mike Coleman for his 16 years of dedicated service as the Suffolk County Police Conference Delegate for the PBA. As of July 1st, the PBA welcomes Jay Brezinski as the new conference delegate. Mike continues to serve as the 2nd Vice President for the Suffolk County Police Conference.

🇺🇸 Happy 250th Independence Day, America! 🇺🇸

Today marks a historic milestone as our nation celebrates 250 years of freedom, resilience, and the enduring ideals that have united Americans since 1776. We honor the generations of men and women whose courage, sacrifice, and commitment have preserved the liberties we enjoy today.

The East Hampton Town PBA wishes everyone in our community, along with our visitors and neighboring communities, a safe, memorable, and enjoyable Fourth of July.

As you celebrate this historic occasion, please help keep our roads and neighborhoods safe:

If you’re drinking, don’t drive. Plan ahead by using a rideshare service, calling a taxi, or choosing a sober designated driver. Be mindful of those around you. A safe celebration ensures everyone can enjoy this once-in-a-generation anniversary.

As we commemorate America’s 250th birthday, let’s celebrate with pride, gratitude, and responsibility.

The PBA would like to welcome and introduce the 5 new Police Officers for the East Hampton Town Police. Yesterday, Trinity Reed, Christian Castro, Christian Rivera, Mark Milo and Dan Donato were sworn in at Town Hall. Dan will begin training at the Suffolk County Police Academy this month, and the rest come to us with prior law enforcement experience and will begin patrolling immediately.

Congratulations on your retirement, Sergeant Brad Rozzi!

The East Hampton Town PBA is proud to celebrate Sergeant Rozzi’s retirement, marking 20 years of dedicated service to our community.

Brad began his law enforcement career in 2005, graduating from the Suffolk County Police Academy, Class 05-146. Over the years, he served as a member of the Emergency Service Unit, and through his hard work and dedication, he earned a well-deserved promotion to Sergeant.

In addition to his professional career, Brad served as the Suffolk County Police Conference Delegate for our PBA, and then as Vice President for the East Hampton Town Superior Officers Association.

Please join us in congratulating Brad on his outstanding career and in wishing him a long, healthy, and happy retirement.
