Reward! Still missing in Guilford since 5/30, last seen on 6/4 on Boston Rd near the Green! This male goldendoodle was not wearing his collar at the time he escaped. Please do NOT call after him or chase. If seen, call either Guilford PD non-emergency # or the owner’s # on the flyer with details on when and where you saw him. Reporting sightings are the key to bringing a lost dog home safe! Thank you

💔 STILL WAITING... MEET CHAI 💔

We honestly can't believe Chai is still here.

When Chai first arrived, she greeted everyone with a wagging tail, a huge smile, and enough energy to light up the entire shelter. She had been abandoned—tied up outside a store and left behind—but she still loved every person she met.

Now, weeks later, Chai is still waiting for someone to give her a chance.

Shelter life is starting to take its toll on her. Chai is becoming kennel stressed, and the frustration of living in a kennel is beginning to show. She's spending her days watching people walk by, listening to barking dogs, and wondering why no one has chosen her. She's started reacting to other dogs in their kennels, something we often see when dogs struggle with the stress and confinement of shelter life.

What Chai needs isn't another day in a kennel. She needs a home.

She needs someone who can help her decompress, provide structure, exercise, and show her that life is more than four walls and chain-link fencing.

Because of her recent kennel stress and dog reactivity in the shelter environment, any potential canine siblings will require a meet-and-greet prior to adoption.

Meet our adorable bonded brothers! These handsome boys are approximately 10 weeks old and are looking for a family willing to adopt them together.

One is a sleek little black kitten and the other is a handsome gray kitten, and wherever one goes, the other isn't far behind. They spend their days chasing toys, wrestling, exploring, and then snuggling up together when they're all worn out.

These boys are at the perfect age to bring endless entertainment, laughter, and love into a home. Since they are so closely bonded, we are hoping to find a family that will keep them together so they can continue their lifelong friendship.

🚨🚨PLEASE SHARE SHARE SHARE🚨🚨

💔 We honestly don't understand how McLovin is still here.

When McLovin first arrived at the shelter after being abandoned, we didn't know much about him. We weren't sure how he'd do around other dogs, children, or in a busy environment.

This weekend, McLovin attended one of our fundraising events and absolutely blew us away.

🐾 He got along with the other dogs.
🐾 He met people of all ages.
🐾 He happily soaked up attention from everyone.
🐾 He even gave one lucky little kid a full-face McLovin kiss! 😘🐶

The sweet, goofy boy we've come to know at the shelter showed everyone exactly who he is: a friendly, loving dog who just wants to be part of a family.

At approximately 2 years old and 70 pounds of pure muscle, McLovin may look tough, but underneath all those muscles is a giant sweetheart.😍 He did amazing at the vet for his vaccines, nail trim, and bath, and now he's proving that he can be a great companion out in the community too.

The only thing missing from McLovin's story is a home.

One family came to meet him and really liked him, but unfortunately it wasn't the right fit. Since then, not a single application has come in for this wonderful dog.

Please help us change that.
