Thanks to the campers at Black Sandy Campground last night for calling in the brush fire on Dana's Point. We found an 11 acre-ish fire burning in grasses that we were able to stop before it got into taller fuels and junipers.

There is not a lot of moisture in the soil as we continue on with our warm, dry and windy Spring. Conditions only deteriorate the longer we go without sustained precipitation.

We'd like to thank the The Friendship Center for training our medical responders last night.

Our community is lucky to have such a valuable community partner dedicated to advocating for those experiencing domestic violence, sexual assault and/or stalking in Lewis and Clark, Broadwater, or Jefferson Counties.

The mission of The Friendship Center is to be a safe haven for those affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking and to empower our community to flourish in relationships free from violence.
