Red Devil contests resume on Tuesday, September 8, with East Jordan hosting Inland Lakes for 7th, 8th, jv, and varsity volleyball and the middle school football team traveling to Joburg to kickoff their season and another full week of contests will finish off the week!

Avary Bearden - 11th place
Nora Inman - 14th place
Lexi Wenz - 24th place
Juliet Inman - 26th place
Tinly Richards - 43rd place

The boys took 5th place in D4.

Our offices are open, and we are excited to welcome new students and families to East Jordan Public Schools!

At EJPS, students have opportunities to explore their interests at every age. We offer Art and PE for students K through 12, elementary music, and band beginning in 5th grade and continuing through high school. We also offer STEM and GardeNature for grades PreK through 5!

Our high school students can also take advantage of AP courses and a wide variety of CTE opportunities, including welding, woods, drafting, business, autos, and more.

Small school. Big opportunities. A great place to learn, grow, and belong.

You can register online at ejps.org. A birth certificate, proof of residency and immunization records are required for enrollment.

WEEK IN REVIEW: READY TO WELCOME OUR STUDENTS!

What a wonderful week at East Jordan Public Schools!

We began with our Welcome Back celebration, where we recognized our staff, shared our mission and vision for the year ahead, and celebrated years of service, weddings, new babies, children beginning kindergarten, and parents of seniors preparing for graduation. We also welcomed our new staff members and introduced them to the EJPS team.

Our staff luncheon featured some finely grilled meats, summer’s finest ice cream, favorite toppings, and plenty of smiles. The week was also packed with professional learning, including SEBH-PBIS training to strengthen social, emotional, and behavioral supports in our classrooms, along with UFLI training for our elementary staff.

Wednesday evening concluded with a Hot Dog Dinner at both buildings, generously provided by our Board of Education, followed by a well-attended Open House. It was wonderful to welcome our students and families back into our schools and to be reminded of the tremendous community support surrounding EJPS.

There were many moving parts throughout the week and a great deal of work behind the scenes. Thank you to our administrators, teachers, support staff, Board members, and everyone else who helped make the week such a success.

We are ready to welcome our students on Monday and look forward to another year of providing a high-quality education to the children of the community we are privileged to serve.
