The Natchaug River Young Marines had another fantastic and successful Brooklyn Fair! 🎡

A huge THANK YOU to all of our Young Marines and adult volunteers for your hard work, dedication, and commitment throughout the fair. Your time, effort, and willingness to help made this event a success, and we truly appreciate everything you do! ❤️

Today, we remember with heavy hearts a young life taken far too soon. 💙

Castro was once a Natchaug River Young Marine, and it was an honor to have been part of his journey. Though his time with us was far too short, the memories, friendships, and impact he left behind will not be forgotten.

Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with his family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. During this incredibly difficult time, we also ask that you consider supporting his family through the GoFundMe. Any donation, no matter the amount, can help ease some of the financial burden and allow the family to focus on grieving and honoring his life. 🌲🧭 The Natchaug River Young Marines had an amazing time at their annual Back to the Woods Encampment this weekend! 🏕️

Our Young Marines enjoyed completing a map and compass course, learning knot-tying skills, and cooling off with some swimming. There was plenty of learning, teamwork, adventure, and fun had by all! 🌊🪢

A big thank you to everyone who helped make this weekend a success! 🇺🇸
