We are excited to announce that the East Lansing Educational Foundation, is honored to present more than $55,000 in grants to East Lansing Public Schools for the 2025–2026 school year. This funding will support 34 innovative teacher-led projects, reaching students in every school and nearly every grade level.

The grants range from collaborative music performance risers for all six elementary schools, to hands-on science initiatives like a Raspberry Shake Seismograph at ELHS and a districtwide middle school science fair, to social-emotional learning and classroom enrichment resources—we are proudly investing in creativity, curiosity, and student engagement across the district.

This year’s awards bring the Foundations total giving to more than $1 million since our founding. This is made possible through the generosity of business partners, community donors and our endowed funds. We are grateful for the partnership between ELEF, ELPS educators, families, and the Board in supporting exceptional learning opportunities for every student.

We can’t wait to see the grants in action this school year!
