Don't forget! Christmas tree recycling will be offered through next Friday, Jan. 13 in the City of ! Live-cut Christmas trees can be placed curbside or dropped off at several drop-off locations in the community: https://www.cityofeastlansing.com/292/Christmas-Tree-Recycling.

All bags, holiday decorations and tree stands should be removed and trees taller than 6 feet should be cut in half.

Community members are reminded that holiday light recycling is being offered through Dec. 12 at the Department of Public Works, 1800 E. State Road. Residents can recycle their non-functioning and functioning holiday lights by dropping them off in the cart in the entrance of DPW during building hours: Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

residents are reminded that Holiday Light Recycling will be offered at the East Lansing Department of Public Works, 1800 E. State Road, from Nov. 28-Dec. 12.

Beginning next Monday, Nov. 28, residents can drop off functioning and non-functioning holiday lights in the cart in the entrance of DPW. residents are reminded that extra, free curbside recycling days will be offered once again this holiday season!

Residents who live west of Abbot Road will have extra recycling days on Nov. 28 and Dec. 12 and residents who live east of Abbot Road will have extra recycling days on Dec. 5 and Dec. 19. Please have your cart at the curb by 7:30 a.m. to ensure collection.

Meridian Township is a hosting a compost bin and rain barrel sale for all community members in the region!
