If you need to pay a rental license or contractor's license, we ask that your payment be mailed to our office at this time. Checks are made payable to "City of East Liverpool" and can be mailed to City of East Liverpool Planning Department, 126 W 6th Street, East Liverpool, Ohio 43920. Thank you.

Beginning Monday, June 1, 2020, Garage/Yard Sale Permits are able to be issued for City residents. Permits cost $5 for 3 days and $10 for up to 9 days. Payment must be exact change.

All rental license and contractor's license transactions are continuing to be conducted through the mail when possible. Zoning/Building Permits are by appointment only. When visiting our office, please wear a face mask and gloves. Thank you.

Starting Monday May 4, 2020, the City Planning and Zoning Department will begin accepting appointments for permits and plan reviews. (Rental licenses and contractor's licenses will continue to be processed through mail.) Appointments can be set up via phone 330-385-5394. We are designating Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:00 pm-4:00 pm for these appointments. Time slots will be approximately 15 minutes to allow us to properly sanitize between appointments and provide a safe environment. In order to enter City Hall for these appointments, a face covering and gloves will be required as well as your temperature being scanned. If any of these protocols are not met, you WILL NOT be allowed inside City Hall. Please contact us with any questions you may have or to set up your appointment. Stay healthy and safe!

To continue our efforts to ensure the safety of the public concerning the spread of COVID-19, No Garage/Yard Sale permits are to be issued. At this time, no Garage/Yard Sales are permitted within the City until June 1, 2020, unless otherwise posted.
