**Now Hiring**Garbage Truck Helper**
**Responsibilities and Tasks:**
- Provide waste removal services to customers on assigned routes by emptying trash receptacles (up to 75 pounds each) into the truck in a safe and compliant manner.
- Enter and exit the truck multiple times daily and/or ride on the back step to service 300-400 stops.
- - Replace trash receptacles neatly at the curb or designated area.
- - Clean up waste spills and overflows.
- - Work with multiple drivers based on workload.
- - Operate the packing mechanism and various levers/handles on the truck to activate the lifting/loading mechanism.
- - Assist the driver in safely backing up the truck by directing the driver from outside the truck.
- - Assist in unloading or cleaning the truck as needed.
- - Professionally interact with both internal and external customers.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Reliable transportation.
- Early mornings.
- No weekends.
