KIPP Academy of Innovation KIPP Academy of Innovation is a tuition-free public charter middle school that opened in August 2014 in East Los Angeles.

KIPP Academy of Innovation is part of the renowned national KIPP (Knowledge is Power Program) network of schools. The school is operated by KIPP LA Schools, a charter management organization. Our 5th grade students applied their knowledge of volume by designing and building robots made from rectangular prisms! Students then solved for the volume of at least one main body part.
A fun hands-on way to combine math, creativity, and problem-solving!

Today our families participated in a Nutrition Class with Food Access LA! 🥗 Parents learned how to read nutrition labels and make informed, healthy choices for their families.

They also got hands-on and created a delicious Purple Power Bean Wrap! 🌯✨
