Local 3377 represents the 12 Career Firefighters proudly serving the Town of East Lyme.

08/22/2026

At approximately 0700hrs on Saturday, August 22nd. East Lyme Fire L3377 along with ELPD and ELAMB responded to the area of Gurley road and Oil Mill road for a report of a vehicle overturned into a brook. Upon arrival B-27 confirmed the vehicle was unoccupied and did not find any patients. EL firefighters then confirmed no fluids from the vehicle were affecting the waterway. Units then held the scene for the vehicle removal.

At approximately 14:45hrs July 23rd, East Lyme Firefighters L3377 along with ELPD, ELAMB, and L&M Paramedics responded to the intersection of Fairhaven Rd and RT 156 for a report of a single car rollover. While En-Route Units were advised extrication would be needed as one person was trapped inside the vehicle. Upon B-11 arrival with 2 L3377 Firefighters, a brief extrication was performed. One person was transported to L&M for their injuries by ELAMB and L&M Paramedics.

At approximately 1700hrs Saturday July 11th, East Lyme Fire along with East Lyme Ambulance and L+M Paramedics were dispatched to Rocky Neck State Park for a reported MVA (Car vs Camper). B-11 Staffed with 2 L3377 Firefighters arrived first on scene, finding a car had ran over a hydrant and went into the side of the camper. 2 Patients were transported to L&M Hospital. East Lyme Water & Sewer responded as well to secure the hydrant.

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances today. We have decided to cancel our fill the boot by Rocky Neck. We will be back TOMORROW same time, same place. Thank you for all your donations yesterday and we look forward to being back out there tomorrow.

East Lyme Firefighters Local 3377 Is out today, tomorrow, and Sunday collecting donations for Care and Share of East Lyme and Salem. We are in front of Rocky Neck State Park on Route 156. There is a traffic pattern in place.

Tonight at 7PM East Lyme Fire Service will go head to head with the East Lyme Police Department in a friendly basketball game to raise funds for the East Lyme High School class of 2026! Tickets are 10$ for adults and 5$ for students.
