Our co-op sports partnership with Harrisonville gives our 7th and 8th graders opportunities they might not otherwise have—and sometimes that means stepping into something completely new!

New teammates, new coaches, new expectations, and the responsibility of balancing athletics with schoolwork. It takes courage to step out and give it a try.

This morning, Bella got to participate in the Harrisonville pep rally, and we loved seeing her be part of the experience!

We are proud of Bella and ALL of our Cougar athletes who step outside their comfort zones, try something new, and represent East Lynne 40 along the way! 🐾

Math is more fun when you can see it, build it, and play it! Miss Howser had our 5th graders put their understanding of powers of 10 into action with a hands-on game that had them thinking, calculating, and working together.

Activities like this turn big math concepts into meaningful learning—and add a little friendly competition along the way! 🎲🔴🟡

SchoolStore.net is an online school fundraising program operated by Reading For Education, LLC. Schools use it to raise money for classrooms and school needs without students having to sell products door-to-door.

The basic idea is that students/families register and send invitations to family and friends. Supporters can then help in several ways: shop through participating retailers, purchase products through the Family Book Store, or make a classroom-directed contribution through Caring for Classrooms. The school or classroom receives a portion of eligible purchases/contributions.

There is also a student prize component. Students can receive a small reading buddy stuffed animal simply for registering/sending invitations, and they can earn additional prizes based on purchases or classroom contributions associated with them.
