Congratulations to one of our own Mat Nel on finishing up his essentials series today!!

Congratulations to the students of the Spring 2026 Monroeville Essentials of Firefighting programs through WCCC PSTC for the successful completion of their entry level training!

Over the past 4 months, these students worked together for over 190 hours, and earned the following classes:

Around 6pm, we received a direct call to the station for a CO condition in a structure. Members from 135 and 306 investigated, and found a generator running inside of a structure. The generator was turned off and the structure was naturally ventilated. One resident was evaluated by EMS.

If you have a need to run a generator, please make sure it is placed outside of the structure.

Congratulations to Firefighter Joe Delsignore for successfully completing his Firefighter 1 certification!
