EMcon East Meadow Public Library Anime Fest Anime Convention EMcon is the East Meadow Public Library’s Anime festival that celebrates one of Japanese MOST popular anime and Japanese cultural activities.

Including panels and workshops that will provide great entertainment for ALL ages. We have programs like “Meet the Artists’” where patrons can meet artists that have published their very own comics and many others to network with at the Artist Alley venue. We also have martial arts. Video games, and workshops to show our patrons something new. Plus as an added bonus, Cosplay! Come as your favorite

anime/comic book character! Compete with other cosplayers to be number 1. There is just too much to discuss!! The great thing about EMcon you can meet others with the same interests. Mingle, network, and participate in our Cosplay contests. Discuss things like the best anime pop culture, the latest anime, manga, Japanese cinema, music and games as well. Every year for the past 12 years has been a great success, so we’re going to do it again!!! See what will be there this year!!!
