The campaign trail has come to a close, and while the outcome wasn’t what we had hoped for, I want to take this opportunity to reflect and offer my deepest thanks.
To every single voter who cast a ballot in my favor—thank you. Your trust, support, and belief in me have been both humbling and inspiring. It has been the honor of a lifetime to run for public office and share a vision for a more transparent and accountable government. Though we didn’t win, I will never forget the conversations on porches, the handshakes at local events, and the stories shared from one end of Fayette County to the other. Meeting so many neighbors and hearing your hopes for our community was truly the highlight of this journey.
To my husband Darrell, our family, and the friends who stood beside me with unwavering love and encouragement—thank you for being my rock through it all. Campaigning takes a village, and I was blessed with the best one.
Congratulations to Jon Marietta on his victory. I wish him wisdom and strength as he continues to serve the people of Fayette County. Public service is never easy, and I hope we can all work toward a stronger, more united community.
Running this race was a new experience—challenging, rewarding, and unforgettable. I’m grateful for every moment of it.
Thank you, Fayette County. This may be the end of a campaign, but it’s certainly not the end of my service to our community.
