Update: trucking company has been found - thank you all for caring!

🚨🚨 Unfortunately on Friday May 29th around 1pm
this truck MAY HAVE backed into our firehouse hall causing significant damage to our door and wall!

Does anyone know this truck or maybe a delivery was made to someone in our area?

NYSP are investigating at this time. ANY LEADS ARE APPRECIATED!

❄️ Winter Weather Reminder ❄️

With the first snow storm on the way, we want to take a moment to share some important winter travel safety tips.

🚒 Be Mindful of First Responders on the Roads 🚑

Fire, EMS and law enforcement personnel will be out during the storm responding to emergencies. Please slow down, move over, and give crews plenty of room to safely operate.

Please no disrespect for fire/EMS, on the roads when they are closed! We appreciate your cooperation.

🚧 Thank You to Our Road Crews

- The Town of Nassau Highway
- The Rensselaer County Highway Department
- The New York State Department of Transportation

These teams will be working tirelessly to clean and maintain our roads. We appreciate you!

‼️ If You Must Travel:

- Drive slowly
- Keep extra distance between vehicles
- Carry emergency supplies in your vehicle
- Avoid unessary travel when possible
- Give plow drivers the space they need to operate
- Clear snow from around Fire hydrants

Your safety-and the safety of our First responders and road crews-depends on all of us working together.
