Our EMS workers and support staff have been gearing up for the storm ahead. Forecasters are calling for up to 12 + inches between early Sunday and Monday. Enough to pose challenges with commuting, supply chains and patient care accessibility to local hospitals. Remember to only call for emergencies during the inclement weather.

Clocks will "fall back" to standard time this year at 2 a.m. local time on Sunday, Nov. 2, meaning those affected will gain an extra hour of sleep. The twice-a-year movement of clocks either backward or forward accounts for more daylight in the mornings or evenings for millions of Americans. With daylight saving time ending over the weekend, people affected can expect more daylight in the mornings.

🏐 🏝️ 🌊 A great time was had on the beach at the 5th Annual “Battle at the Bay” Volleyball Tournament this past weekend. There was fierce competition, and while we didn’t get the victory, our team had a lot of fun and we will be ready for next year. A special thank you to Hackensack Meridian Health Raritan Bay Medical Center for hosting. Congratulations to the winners, we will see you next year! 🏆 🥇

Philips proudly offers Specialty Care Transport Services! Also known as Critical Care Transport (CCT), this requires a licensed Registered Nurse to assist in acute to acute inter facility transfers. Specialty Care needs may depend on the state of an emergency situation, types of medication involved, or a patient’s individual medical needs.

At Philips, our CCT units enable special care transportation for critically ill patients with trauma, cardiac or various other medical or neurological conditions.
