Our mission is to empower individuals to obtain the services and skills needed to enhance their employment opportunities, providing a job training system that ensures a skilled and productive workforce to support a healthy economy throughout the City of East Orange. To enable East Orange residents who are economically disadvantaged or dislocated and under-employed to obtain un

subsidized employment through the provision of workforce preparation, retraining and job placement. Employment and Training/Workforce Development represents a comprehensive, holistic employment, training and placement program which works in conjunction with the private sector, educational systems, community-based organizations, and federal and state job training programs.
