Retraining The Village Nonprofit offering re-entry + residential addiction recovery housing in Central + Northern California We work with chronic homeless individuals, low barriers.

Retraining the Village is a shelter in East Palo Alto and Madera California we support our Veterans and at risk homelessness. We are the bridge between homelessness and permanent housing. We provide shelter to those who have run out of time at the local shelters in the East Palo Alto and Madera California area. We provide services that are self-help and action items that help our Veterans and Individuals to break barriers and create a chain of change. Our Trauma Survival groups create a path to success. Retraining the Village has house rules that coordinate with the local state laws on living in a multi-family apartment units. Our clients learn the protocol of living amongst a neighborhood and with others in consideration.
