When a family or individual is no longer able to afford housing due to sudden changes, and their support systems are limited, a housing crisis becomes unavoidable. Truth be told, this can happen to anyone of us at any given time. According to recent data, there are 10,000 homeless people in the greater Atlanta area, 41% are in emergency shelter, 28% are in transitional housing, 31% are on the streets.
We are asking you to join us in addressing this issue.
Your donation will support families and individuals who are at risk of homelessness by providing rent/mortgage and utility assistance and gift cards for groceries and gas! Your donation will also provide hotel stays, rapid rehousing, and gift cards for groceries and gas for families and individuals currently experiencing homelessness.
$25 to 50 – Food for a week
$200 – Utilities for a month
$450 – Motel room for a week for the homeless
$1000 – Rent for a month
