It’s Dr. Mark Baker and I’d like to share my plan for leadership & growth for South Fulton:
“Stabilize the Government. Strengthen Our City. Serve the People.”
FIRST 90 DAYS:
✅ Create an independent Office of Ethics and Investigations
✅ Pass 2 new ordinances to restrict warehouses
✅ Launch a full review of every department’s operations to rebuild trust & restore efficiency
✅ Implement an “open checkbook” financial transparency website
✅ Improve 911 response times through staffing, technology, and inter-agency coordination
LONG TERM
✅ Develop a community-centered downtown on par with Sandy Springs
✅ Focus on bringing quality restaurants, retail and entertainment to the city
✅ Repair infrastructure, eliminate dangerous intersections & choke points
✅ Create a South Fulton Solutions Commission - bringing residents, frontline staff and management together to fix long-standing challenges
✅ Create a Small Business Resource Hub to connect owners to capital and training
