You think you’ve seen it all in the pool business… then you’re closing a pool from the 1950s and your technician practically disappears into the ground!

Around here, we don’t just close pools… we go DOWN IN HISTORY doing it.

Rochester winters are no joke, and neither is our team’s commitment to getting the job done right.

Some pool guys get their feet wet. Ours goes all in.

🔥 Thinking About Buying a Sauna? Read This First!

Not all saunas are built the same, and what goes into your sauna matters just as much as how it looks.

Before investing in a home sauna, there are a few important things worth knowing:

🌿 Materials Matter: Learn why wood quality, adhesives, and finishes deserve a closer look.

🔍 Know What You're Buying: Understand the questions to ask about construction, heating systems, and manufacturer standards.

🏡 Invest in Quality: A well-built sauna should be designed for comfort, durability, and years of enjoyment.

At Pettis Pools, we believe choosing the right sauna starts with being informed.

We've put together a helpful guide explaining what to look for and what to avoid when shopping for a home sauna.

📖 Read the full article: https://pettispools.com/what-is-a-toxic-sauna-and-why-you-should-avoid-it/

📍 Visit Pettis Pools in Hilton or East Rochester, NY, to explore our sauna options and speak with our team.

What is a toxic sauna? Many “budget” saunas are made with low-quality materials that can release harmful toxins and high EMF levels.

🍂❄️ Is your hot tub ready for winter?

Before the temperatures drop, check the cover for unusual weight, tears, or buckling foam. Inspect the filters for torn pleats or cracked plastic, and clean or replace them as needed.

💧 Drain, clean, and refill your spa before freezing weather arrives.
🌡️ Make sure it heats properly and the jet pumps cycle.
🔍 Check the ground around the spa for persistent dampness or leaks.
