We are less than a week away! Come by the East Rochester Fire Department from 10am to 3pm for the Craft Show on June 6th. There will be a fill the boot fundraiser for the ERFD, and raffle prizes. Hots and hamburgers will be available for purchase as well. Please park at the Eyer Buildng next door as parking at the Firehall is for ERFD firefighters only.

Last night a couple of our members, as well as our Quint, headed out to the Public Safety Training Facility - PSTF to support the Firefighter 1 class that included 2 of our very own. Firefighter 1 teaches new recruits the fundamental skills needed for basic firefighting.
We are always looking for new volunteers. No experience required to join. Please reach out to us if you are interested by using the link at the top of our page under links.

We would like to thank everyone who stopped by yesterday during our Open House. We would also like to thank the three people who took an application for membership as well as the individual who took an application to join our R.A.M. program.
This weekend isn’t the only time we look for new members. As a 100% volunteer department, we are always looking for motivated individuals who want to help their community. If you want to learn more about what it is like being a volunteer firefighter, and/or have questions, or ready to take the first step towards becoming a volunteer firefighter, please reach out to us on our social media pages, use the link pinned at the top of our page, or call us at 585-381-1112 and leave us a message. Your community always needs someone to answer the call.

Come down today, 10am and 2pm to our RecruitNY Open House and get info on what it takes to be a volunteer firefighter. Take a tour of the fire station, watch live demos, and look at some fire trucks!
