Good Morning! December is well under way. With the holidays on the horizon, it is time for thanks, family, and fellowship. Moreover, this month spells the last month for HealthVisions Midwest of East St. Louis. It also marks the end of an era for one of St. Clair County's biggest advocates, Ms. Paula Wills. Therefore, if you haven't already, please send her your thanks and gratitude for all she's done in her 43 years of servitude to this community.

Those who are concerned about the services, fear not. The HealthVisions Midwest staff, and programs, will be transitioning to Community Lifeline East Saint Louis in January. In the meantime, please enjoy some of the shots we got from Ms. Paula's retirement party. We will post more as the month comes to a close!

Good evening, . The news is out! At the end of this year, MS. PAULA WILLS WILL BE RETIRING from her position as our respected Director.

After 43 years of service to the City of East St Louis, and St. Clair County, Ms. Paula has touched countless lives; providing support, guidance, and essential resources every step of the way. Now that her time is over, we will be hosting this Praise Breakfast in honor of her, and all that she's accomplished. Moreover, the Praise Breakfast will also serve as an opportunity for the community to support our mission as we pour back into them.

Please join us as we bid farewell to the missionary that helped to bring HealthVisions Midwest to East St. Louis. Moreover, bring a charitable heart, for even though her mission is over, we will continue to carry the torch as we enact God's will!

Good evening, everyone! As we all lay down our proverbial (or literal) hammers to head home for a few days, we’d like to wish everyone all a safe and rejuvenating weekend.

On another note, we’d like to give a big thanks to our transportation client, Don Crawford, for his generous donation to our organization. Although our many services are free to the public, it is thanks to people like Mr. Don that we can continue to serve the community as impactfully as we do. Furthermore, we’d also like to thank Don’s sister, Cindy, for her beautiful card and words of encouragement!

We appreciate you!!!

Good evening Facebook Family. At HealthVisions Midwest, helping our community members to live healthier, more independent lives is of the utmost importance. Through the implementation of our mission, we've had the great opportunity to touch countless lives. Although we are merely here to serve God's mission, it is all the more fulfilling when we receive feedback from those we've helped. Therefore, we will share a heartfelt note that we recently received from a client:

To whom it may concern,

Hello, I'm writing your establishment because I appreciate your sincerity and friendship to give an old lady a birthday wish. I am blessed to see 74 years and counting. Smile. Thanks for your concern. Be safe and always pray.

Peace,

Emma Johnson

Good Morning, Brothers and Sisters in Christ!

At HealthVisions Midwest of East St. Louis, we've served St. Clair County for 20 years, providing services such as assisted transportation and isolation mitigation. To properly address the needs of our vast community, we've largely relied on volunteers to donate their time to our cause.

With that being said, we'd like to extend our hands to those that would join us in God's mission. We are specifically in need of new drivers that can perform a few trips a month. Keep in mind, there is no transport quota. Drivers are able to pick up as few, or as many trips they'd like throughout the year. Moreover, drivers are reimbursed at a rate of 67 cents for every mile driven.

Moreover, we always have openings for those who'd like to serve by making a weekly calls to isolated seniors. This program is known as Telephone Reassurance Calls. The calls can be performed from anywhere. All that we ask is they are tracked and performed on a weekly basis. Ideally, you'll not only help a senior stay connected to their community, but you will form a friendship that is mutually nourishing to the soul.

Thank you for your help! Our flyer has a QR code for those who wish to fill out a digital application. If you'd like a paper application, or have other questions, please message me!
