Today is National Dog Day so it seems like a perfect time to introduce the latest addition to our station.
This is Gunner--
aka Gunner the Bestest Boy
aka Gunner the Goodest Guy
aka Silly Goose.
He is a one'ish year-old lab mix and we sprung him from the Tusc Co Pound.
With all that has been thrown at him in a very short time--leaving the pound in a cone after neutering, a constant rotation of personnel through the doors and overhead tones at all hours--
he's doing great!!
You'll see us walking him around the Village. Stop us and meet him. He's a very friendly guy!

Very interesting read about the statistics of EMS. 3% of patients account for 16% of transports.
Along the same line, our local EDs have been on diversion many times this summer with a major factor being presenting symptoms that could have been handled by primary care providers or StatCare.
