📗Now Hiring: Circulation Clerk at the Library of the Smithfields 📗

Eastern Monroe Public Library is accepting applications for a part-time, permanent Circulation Clerk position at our Library of the Smithfields branch (East Stroudsburg)

The position is for 10-15 hours weekly, including evening and Saturday hours.

Applicants must be 18 or older with a high school diploma or GED. Strong customer service and computer skills are required.

Individuals with a strong interest in public libraries, literacy, and community service are encouraged to apply.

Craft Supply Swap Postponed!!

No Donations Please!

At the beginning of July in the Eastern Monroe Public Library newsletter, we announced that we would be holding a Craft Supply Swap at the end of August and that starting July 30th, we would be accepting donations of new/gently used craft or art items.

Due to extenuating circumstances, the Craft Swap has been Postponed! This means we will no longer be accepting donations come the end of July.

Outside the specified times in special cases, the Library of the Smithfields does not take material or book donations of any kind. The donation window for the October Swap will be announce shortly along with the Swap date itself.

✨All branches of Eastern Monroe Public Library will be CLOSED Friday, July 4th in observance of Independence Day. We’ll reopen with normal hours on Saturday, July 5th.

Stock up early on books, movies, and more for the holiday weekend! Don’t forget — our online library is always open at www.monroepl.org, where you can access eBooks, movies, music, and place holds for pickup when we reopen.
