Pocono Services for Families and Children, Inc. Our mission is to provide resources for the evolving needs of community children and families, in support of efforts to achieve their goals.

PSFC is a nonprofit in Monroe County, Pennsylvania that provides integrated support for children and families. Locations in Stroudsburg, East Stroudsburg, Tobyhanna and Tannersville. We offer early childhood education (infant/toddler care, pre-K, Head Start), school-age programs, and youth development through their YES (Youth Empowerment Service) program (ages 12–24) with emphasis on leadership, career skills, health, and re-entry support. Our mission is to adapt to the evolving needs of community children and families by meeting immediate needs and supporting longer-term goals. PSFC's classrooms are Keystone Star 4 and NAEYC accredited.

We had a wonderful Day of Caring at our East Stroudsburg Center! 💙

We’re so thankful to the volunteers from Vigon for helping with outdoor clean-up and organizing our art supplies, and to Meals on Wheels for spending time reading with our children 🎨

Yesterday, PSFC was grateful to welcome volunteers from T-Mobile and Representative Tarah Probst’s team to Ramsey Center for Day of Caring! 💙

A special thank you to Pocono Mountains United Way for helping coordinate this wonderful day and connecting us with such dedicated volunteers. Our volunteers spent the day helping with our Children’s Book Inventory and Sensory Hallway, making a meaningful impact on our space for the children we serve.

🌙✨ A Night at the Museum!

PSFC’s Education Manager and Education Coordinators had the opportunity to join Dr. Langan, Dean of the College of Education, and professors from the Education Department at East Stroudsburg University for a “Night at the Museum” at the Schisler Museum and McMunn Planetarium.

We enjoyed exploring the museum, testing sample stations for children, and learning more about their new curriculum and programming. Our team also had the opportunity to provide feedback on how these experiences could benefit the children we serve.

It was a fun evening of learning, exploring, and networking with our friends at ESU!

A special opportunity for PSFC! 💙

Earlier this month, PSFC had the opportunity to attend Asure50, an invitation-only event hosted by Asure Software in Texas.

The event brought together 50 leading small and mid-sized organizations from across North America for a few days of conversation, connection, and learning. We were honored to be part of this group and especially excited to have Michael Berman take the stage as one of just four roundtable speakers.

Michael shared his perspective on HR and the growing role of AI in the workplace, highlighting the unique considerations and opportunities these topics bring to the nonprofit sector.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to represent PSFC, exchange ideas with leaders from across the country, and bring new knowledge and inspiration back to our agency!

🎟️ Help Us Make Family Fun Day Extra Special! 🎉

We’re getting ready for our Family Fun Day Tricky Tray on Saturday, September 12th, from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM at Dansbury Park, and we’re looking for donations from our wonderful community!

We’re seeking gift cards, gift baskets, merchandise, event tickets, services, and more to help make this year’s Tricky Tray a fun and exciting part of the day. Every donation, big or small, makes a difference!
