Tricky Tray for the Sunshine Foundation

Tricky Tray for the Sunshine Foundation Tricky Tray Fundraiser to benefit the dreamers of the Sunshine Foundation! The average cost of adopting a dream is $6000.

So far, the Sunshine Foundation has made over 41,600 dreams real for children in need. Since larger wish granting organizations do not grant dreams to chronically ill and physically challenged children, there is currently a several years waiting list for approved children who are waiting for a special dream come true. As you can imagine, the most popular dream is a Florida vacation to Disney World

, Universal Studios, Sea World or Legoland. Families travel to Florida and stay at The Sunshine Village, which is fully operated and funded by the Sunshine Foundation. All generous donations will help make dreams come true. All money raised at this event will be donated directly to Sunshine Foundation in hopes that it helps another child experience their dream. As a parent of a chronically ill child, an organization like Sunshine Foundation is a godsend. Giving an ill child something to look forward to is priceless.

MEET BIRDIE!!! This year's event will make Birdie's dream come true! Birdie lives in Wind Gap and is diagnosed with dysautonomia, gastroparesis, and functional neurological disorder. She dreams of a bedroom make over to have a calm, peaceful place to read and create. Birdie loves going to comic cons and dressing up; she turns her face into a piece of art! Her other creative outlets are making crafts, painting nails, crocheting and sewing. As a result of her diagnosis, she is constantly dealing with flares and has been admitted to the hospital monthly for the past several years. Birdie's Mom says, "This dream would be amazing. She is so excited and has so many ideas. It gives her something positive to look forward to." Please join us on Sunday, September 27 and help make Birdie's dream come true!
