The winning Bass was 5.9 pounds! Thank you to everyone who made this possible and to the nearly 80 participants! The fish were biting today. It was a fun day for all. Thank you Steve M for organizing this and to Brooke Peterson (Remax Realty) for getting sponsors and running the raffle to raise money for BLIMP.

Want to get to know others from around the lake? BLIMP would love you to join us for our first Nips, Nosh and Knowledge event. Bring your favorite beverage and snack/app and we will have a table set for you at the Shady Nook Rec Center.

This will be a fun event for a chance to meet others from around the lake and listen to our friends from Loon Preservation talk to us about our loons.

Saturday June 13th…Sign in and settle in from 2:30-3:00 with the presentation to begin at 3:00.

Lakeside still has a few summer openings on Balch Lake!
3BR camp in Shady Nook with direct beach/lake access, kayaks, large screened porch, spacious deck, A/C, WiFi, and two living spaces. Sleeps up to 7; pet-friendly with approval. Also includes access to the SNIA pickleball & tennis courts.

Remaining prime summer availability:
• July 12–16
• August 22 – September 3 (flexible / can be split)

We also have availability before June 26th or after September 7th for a reduced nightly rate, reach out if you are interested or have any questions.
