Was first started by Al Siderio Jr. in 1975 he served as the chief of WFD until the day he sadly passed away in 06. R.I.P. Al your sadly missed and always loved by thousands of friends and family. Wales Fire is an all volunteer fire dept. we do not get payed anything its all free pride is our pay. We cover wales which is located in Androscoggin County in Maine. We do both fire and medical calls we join with Monmouth Rescue AKA MRA. we respond to medical calls and have our EMS personal treat the patient while MRA is in route and MRA transports for us. Our fire station is located @ 175 Centre Road and it's been there since 2013(old one @ 302 centre rd since 1975. We have a roster of about 38 members including Jr. Firefighters. Any questions just leave some comments and we will answer them. And we still make house calls! applications for juniors ages 13-17 can be obtained at the wales town office. Applications for regular firefighters ages 18+ can also be obtained at the wales town office.
