Happy first day Kindergarten and Happy Birthday to these kiddos!!
Phew, it was a good first day, but Im glad that's over with!🦁
There, we're tears, some all-out screaming, and crying with some rolling around on the floor kicking and screaming. We even had an "eloper" and that was just the teachers!
The kids did great!!
All jokes aside, it was a great day. I'm sure the kids will sleep well tonight!

We have some new little Lee Lions joining the pack on Monday, and who better to welcome them than our biggest Lee Lions? We hope these words of encouragement from our sixth grade students help ease those first day jitters!

We are so happy to have these kiddos back! Today was a pretty great day. A few students, mostly kinders, had a bit of a rough start, but the tears settled down pretty quickly once they got to class and the teachers told them all the exciting and fun things they would learn about this year. I am happy to say it was a great day!

Lee Elementary is grateful for your dedication spanning over 10 years. This morning, one of our radiant 6th-grade students unleashed joy by bringing her mini boombox to the playground, cranking up the beat, and hosting her own vibrant dance party! What typically would've been a moment to redirect became a perfectly timed celebration, as students from all grades flocked to her infectious energy, uniting in spontaneous dance. It was truly heartwarming to witness the older kids cheering on their younger peers with enthusiasm, creating an unforgettable scene that embodied the spirit of togetherness and pure delight.
