VFW Post 3617 - Wenatchee Valley Community Coffee Chat: every Friday, 9am

Monthly meetings: 3rd Wednesday, 7pm

Advocacy, Support, and Connections for Veterans, Volunteer opportunities, community events, and more to keep veterans and family members involved, connected, and supported. Our weekly Friday morning coffee event is open to all veterans, families, and community members. Come meet some of our members, hear stories about recent successes, and find out what’s coming up so that you might get involved.

Members of our Post and Auxiliary come from all over Chelan and Douglas Counties, including but not limited to Leavenworth, Entiat, Wenatchee, Rock Island, Orondo, Waterville, Mansfield, Bridgeport, and East Wenatchee. We partner with Civil Air Patrol Pangborn Composite Squadron and other organizations for service projects, patriotic events, and more.

This just in! Our 1957 Shore Patrol jeep, Annabelle, will be joining the Veterans of Foreign Wars Dept of Washington and VFW Auxiliary Department of Washington in Leavenworth at the end of this month for the Washington State Autumn Leaf Festival grand parade on Saturday, 26 Sept.

Budget rules do not force Congress to reduce future disability compensation for veterans with service-connected tinnitus or sleep apnea. That is a choice, not a requirement.
Congress created PAYGO, and Congress has changed, waived, and adjusted its budget rules when it chose to do so.
Lawmakers should not hide this choice behind a budget rule. Remove Section 108 and pass the provisions veterans need without making future disabled veterans pay for them.
