East Windsor Social Services The Social Services Department is an active and proud member of the East Windsor community.

The Human Services Department is an active and proud member of the East Windsor community. We strive to offer programs and services that help East Windsor residents meet their social, emotional, and basic needs while helping to attain self-sufficiency and maintain economic well-being. We work closely with other town, state and non-profit agencies and departments to accomplish this goal. Informatio

n is provided and referrals are made for appropriate services. We are responsible for administering energy assistance programs and renter's rebate. We also offer several programs through our office such as; Back to School and New Beginnings, Farmer's Market Coupons, Holiday Baskets, and Holiday Adopt A Family. We strive to provide great service to the residents of East Windsor and hope to continue to do that as our town sees more growth. General Information:

Holiday Food Program
To qualify for this program, you must be an East Windsor Resident and meet income and program guidelines. The last day to sign up for Thanksgiving is October 1st, the last day to sign up for Christmas is November 5th.
o Income Guidelines: Family of 1- $47,880, 2-$64,920, 3-$81,960, 4-$99,000, 5-$116,040, 6-$133,080, 7-$150,120, 8-$167,160.

2026 Holiday Food Program Form (one form per household)

Holiday Gift/Stocking Program
To qualify for this program, you must be an East Windsor Resident and have children who reside with you and are under 18 years old. The last day to apply for this program is November 5th.
o Income Guidelines: Family of 2-$64,920, 3-$81,960, 4-$99,000, 5-$116,040, 6-$133,080, 7-$150,120, 8-$167,160.
o Documents need to apply for this program: Drivers Licenses or Birth Certificates, Social Security Cards, Utility Bills, Current Lease or Mortgage Statement, Current Income -Four (4) Consecutive weeks paystubs, Social Security, Pension, Veterans Benefits, Unemployment Payment History, Current DSS Worksheet (SNAP benefits, etc.), Proof of Child Support, and a Complete Bank Statement.

Holiday Gift/Stocking Forms
o 2026 Holiday Gift Program Form for children ages 0-13 (please fill out one form per child)
o 2026 Holiday Stocking Form for children ages 14-17 (please fill out one form per child)

We will only be accepting applications that are accompanied by all required documentation for Backpacks and Holiday Gifts/Stockings. Therefore, please make sure you bring everything with you when you come to the office during the following hours:
Monday to Wednesday: 9:00am to 4:00pm; Thursday: 9:00am to 6:30pm; Friday: 9:00am to 12:30pm

It is time once again to register for the 2026 Back to School Backpack program.

Applications will be available June 17th. To be considered for the program, all application forms must be completed and submitted with the required documentation. Please note that incomplete applications or applications submitted without all required documents cannot be processed. For more information, please contact East Windsor Social Services (860-623-2430).
