Friday afternoon, Mother Nature cooperated and members attended the annual Memorial Day Service at Veteran’s Park. The FD, led by Assistant Chief Swartz, laid a wreath at the township memorial.

A local non profit organization will be at the firehouse for 1 more hour collecting your unwanted clothing for a good cause.

You don’t even have to get out of your car, pull up and drop off.

On Monday evening we trained on a soon to be demoed house. Crews stretched lines, searched the house for victims and practiced VEIS (vent, enter, isolate and search).

Good evening, the FD is at 1329 Woodlane Rd training on a vacant structure. We are using theatre smoke for training.

On Monday evening, we held our monthly business meeting followed by a Tool Box drill. The subject of our training drill was Tourniquets. Newer members had their first exposure to them, senior members got a great review. We are very fortunate to have a member who is an instructor on this subject. We took turns self administering care and then partnered up to care for each other.

On Sunday, Rescue Engine 3411 attended the St. Florian service at St. Andrew’s Church in Mt. Holly along with other RV TaskForce members. St. Florian is the patron saint of Firefighters. Following the service, Father Andrew blessed the trucks and Firefighters. Mount Holly Fire District No.1 Hainesport Volunteer Fire Company

Tonight’s drill, hose advancement with obstacles…. and special visit by our 1st Department Chief Dave Osworth (in red shirt flanked by Past Chiefs Parks, Sr and Polios). There is a lot of history, All three served as Chief officers, each propelling our organization forward. Two of which also served as Fire Commissioners and Board Chairman. COMMITMENT—DEDICATION

Friends….BCIT - Westampton Softball team lost some equipment in a bus fire. See below…

The very unfortunate bus fire our members responded to the other day was one of our local high school softball teams. They’re accepting donations of all kinds and we’re more than happy to spread the word!
