On Monday evening, we held our monthly business meeting followed by a Tool Box drill. The subject of our training drill was Tourniquets. Newer members had their first exposure to them, senior members got a great review. We are very fortunate to have a member who is an instructor on this subject. We took turns self administering care and then partnered up to care for each other.

On Sunday, Rescue Engine 3411 attended the St. Florian service at St. Andrew’s Church in Mt. Holly along with other RV TaskForce members. St. Florian is the patron saint of Firefighters. Tonight’s drill, hose advancement with obstacles…. and special visit by our 1st Department Chief Dave Osworth (in red shirt flanked by Past Chiefs Parks, Sr and Polios). There is a lot of history, All three served as Chief officers, each propelling our organization forward. Two of which also served as Fire Commissioners and Board Chairman. COMMITMENT—DEDICATION
