Structure Fire – Commercial Building

Eastanollee Fire Department, Carnes Creek Fire Department, Martin Fire Department, and Stephens County EMS responded to a reported large explosion and commercial structure fire off of the 1400 block of Wolf pit Road.

Upon arrival, crews found a building with an extremely heavy fuel load and active fire conditions. Ladder 1 quickly set up an aerial operation and began flowing water into the structure while the building’s internal sprinkler system worked to contain the fire.

An interior attack team made entry and extinguished remaining hotspots.

Several explosions were reported during the incident. Thankfully, due to the properly functioning suppression system and rapid response from all agencies, the fire was successfully contained.

Hazmat crews are currently on scene, and the incident remains under investigation.

On Friday at approximately 5:34 PM, Eastanollee Fire Department, along with Big Smith Fire Department and Martin Fire Department and other county Assests via a county man power response responded to a reported Structure Fire off HARBERT VALLEY RD,

Due to windy conditions, the fire quickly intensified and spread, ultimately causing a nearby structure to catch fire. Responding units worked efficiently to contain and extinguish both the brush fire and the structure fire.

There were no injuries reported.

Great work by all departments involved in bringing this incident under control.

At approximately 4:57 PM, Eastanollee Fire Department was dispatched to Rock Creek Road for a motor vehicle accident with unknown injuries.

Units arrived on scene and worked quickly to clear the incident, with the vehicle successfully removed from the roadway.

We’d like to thank Stephens County Sheriff’s Office and EMS for their outstanding teamwork and response.

At 12:48, Eastanollee Fire Department was dispatched for an iPhone crash detection alert. Upon arrival, crews located a single-vehicle accident off the roadway with one male patient trapped inside.

Fire and EMS personnel, along with SCSO and GSP, worked together to safely remove the patient. He was transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center. His condition is currently unknown.

This is a reminder why we treat every call like it matters because it does.

Brush Fire Response – Eastanollee Fire Department

At approximately 12:45 PM, Eastanollee Fire Department and Big Smith Fire Department responded to a reported brush fire off of Oak Valley Road

Units from both departments arrived on scene and quickly brought the fire under control, preventing further spread. Crews worked efficiently to ensure full extinguishment and secure the area.

Great work by all personnel involved. No injuries were reported.

🔥 Structure Fire Response : Wolf Pit Road.

At approximately 3:20 AM, Eastanollee Fire Department, along with Martin Fire Department and Big Smith Fire Department, responded to reports of a fully involved construction fire.

Upon arrival, crews found the structure heavily involved. Eastanollee Fire Department crews quickly deployed the Ariel from ladder one and attacked the fire extinguishing the majority of the fire using an engine apparatus, while personnel worked alongside Martin and Big Smith Fire Departments to complete extinguishment and overhaul operations.

Thanks to the excellent coordination and teamwork between all responding departments, the fire was brought under control quickly.

No injuries were reported.

Structure Fire – BEL AIRE DR

At approximately 6:40 PM, Eastanollee Fire, Big Smith Fire, and Martin Fire responded to a working structure fire off BEL AIRE DR.

Crews arrived on scene and quickly initiated fire suppression efforts. Thanks to coordinated operations and a strong mutual aid response, the fire was brought under control in a timely manner.

There are no reported injuries at this time.

At approximately 12:06pm Eastanollee Fire Department, Carnes Creek Fire Department, and Shiloh Fire Department responded to a reported 12x16 outbuilding fire off Cedar Fork road.

Upon arrival of the first unit on scene, the structure was found to be fully involved. Crews initiated an aggressive fire attack and contained the blaze. Due to extension from the structure, firefighters also worked a small woods fire in the immediate area.

The outbuilding was declared a total loss. No additional structures were damaged, and no injuries have been reported.
