Eastchester Environmental Committee A Town of Eastchester appointed committee consisting of volunteer citizens of Eastchester, Bronxville & Tuckahoe dedicated to the health of the environment

Mission Statement

1) Study the environmental impact of ongoing town government practices, and consider how to develop more environmentally responsible practices perhaps including preparation ofone or more reports on town practices.
2) Encourage more environmentally responsible practices by the residents and businessesof the Town of Eastchester, by sponsoring events, supplying resources and issu

ingcommunications.
3) Interact with environmental groups and committees of neighboring towns and villages toincrease environmentally responsible behavior by the town government and residents.
4) Assist town government including the Town Board with environmental issues as theyarise.
