Deputy Mayor Darryl Taylor, is a lifelong Tuckahoe resident whose commitment to service has shaped both his career and his community. A retired Corrections Officer, Darryl has dedicated decades to helping make Tuckahoe a stronger, more connected village. He is seeking re-election this November.

Throughout his career, Darryl has combined leadership with service. He served for 15 years as a Trustee of the COBA Union Welfare Benefits Fund and is proud to be endorsed by the AFL-CIO. He currently serves as Chairman of Deployed at Home, Inc., supporting veterans and their families, and has helped guide Tuckahoe's future through his work on the village's Comprehensive Planning Committee.

Darryl's roots in community service run deep. For more than 40 years, he has volunteered with the Eastchester Community Action Partnership (ECAP), the organization his mother, Alma Lee Taylor, helped establish. He has served on the ECAP Board for the past 14 years and remains committed to its mission of supporting local families. As a founding member of Saving Our Sons and Daughters, he has mentored young people and worked to create opportunities for the next generation.

His dedication extends to the playing field and beyond. For nearly 30 years, Darryl has coached youth football, AAU basketball, and baseball, helping countless young athletes build confidence, discipline, and teamwork. Since 2012, he has also served as an ordained Deacon, continuing his lifelong commitment to serving others.

Darryl Taylor brings steady leadership, deep experience, and a lifelong dedication to the people of Tuckahoe. His record reflects a simple belief: strong communities are built through service, and service is a responsibility that never ends.

Thirteen years of raising a family in Tuckahoe has a way of making village governance personal. Harmeet Goindi, Tuckahoe Village Trustee first ran because he cares deeply about this community. Now, as an incumbent with a record of results, he is running again because there is more work to do.

During his term, Harmeet secured village funding for the long-needed storm drain project and serves as Trustee liaison to the Eastchester School District, the Planning Board, and Tuckahoe’s Environment and Sustainability Committee, which he co-founded. In these roles, he has advanced green infrastructure and climate resiliency initiatives across the village. He also serves on the boards of the Westchester County Soil and Water Conservation District and the STEM Alliance, and was instrumental in launching the Tuckahoe Music Festival.

Professionally, Harmeet is a CFA charterholder with an MBA from NYU Stern, an MS from RPI, and a B.Tech from IIT Bombay. He founded Trade Alert and WhatsTrading.com, which were acquired by Cboe Global Markets in 2020, and has held senior roles at Cboe, Credit Suisse, and Bank of America.

He and his wife are proud parents of three children in Eastchester School District’s elementary, middle, and high schools.

Harmeet brings a record of results, a forward-looking approach, and a deep commitment to the future of Tuckahoe. The Tuckahoe Democratic Committee is proud to support Harmeet.
