The department’s mission is to provide and promote year-round programs and activities that enhance the quality of life of its participants. The department continually strives to develop and advance active and passive recreation to meet the ever-growing needs of the community

Thank you to all of the wonderful people who join in on today's Tag Sale on the Windmill Green! We couldn't have pulled this off without all of you who participated as a vendor especially with your flexibility of changing the date. Thank you to everyone who came to enjoy the event and we know we definitely want to do another Tag Sale Event in the near future! Perfect way to spend a Sunday!

🌊 Sticker Season Is Here, Eastham! 🌊

As we head into Memorial Day Weekend, here’s what you need to know:

No stickers are needed this MDW at Town Bay Beaches or our freshwater ponds these locations will begin staffing in June.

Cape Cod National Seashore beaches (including Nauset Light and Coast Guard) begin MDW.
👉 Remember: Your 2025 sticker is valid through June 30th, or you may use a new 2026 sticker.

We are currently not open for sticker sales. All mail in applications received prior to May 5th have been processed. If you mailed in an application prior to May 5th and haven’t heard back, please call the Beach Department, there may be an issue with your application.

In-person sticker sales begin Thursday, June 4th

Repairs are scheduled for the court lights at the Field of Dreams next to Town Hall next month. We apologize for any inconvenience when using the courts during evening hours. The lights were damaged during the winter from the blizzard back in Febraury. Thank you all for your patience!

Happy Wednesday! Just a reminder to give us a call at the Rec Office to sign up for childcare during Town Meeting. Town Meeting is on Monday May 4 which is right around the corner! 508-240-5974

🎉 Calling all Eastham parents attending Town Meeting on Monday, May 4th! 🎉

We're excited to offer FREE child care during the meeting for children 5 and older! Our Eastham Recreation & Beach Department Team will be present to provide gym games, board games, LEGOs, pizza, and snacks for up to 40 children.

To ensure we can best care for your little ones, please sign up in advance by calling the Recreation Department at 508-240-5974.

On the night of the Town Meeting, parents will need to sign their child(ren) in and out, and we will ask for a cell phone number for emergency contact.
