Did you Miss Last Night's Master Plan Workshop? PARTICIPATE NOW ONLINE!

During the October 12 workshop, attendees viewed the latest in a series of conceptual plans showing how the Town-owned T-Time, Town Center Plaza, and COA properties could be redeveloped to meet identified community needs. Attendees were given the opportunity to ask questions and give their input on anything the Master Plan team may not have already considered over the past nine months of public outreach and analysis.

Unable attend the meeting? Don't worry! There is an equivalent online option to participate and share your input with the project team!

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
1) Visit the official project website to watch a recording of the October 12 workshop and view the final draft concepts for future use of the Town-owned T-Time, Town Center Plaza, and COA properties: https://www.northeasthammasterplan.com/virtual-public-presentation-october

2) Keep in mind: After many months of community input through this project and the prior T-Time Committee process (2019-2021), these final draft concepts reflect the project team's in-depth analysis of each site and show a balance of many different community needs. However, it is important to note that the scenarios are still conceptual in nature and are intended to be used as a vision for development, rather than as blueprints or as-built designs. In other words, what you see in these plans could still change and be adjusted, and we still have many questions to answer. Issues such as traffic management, wastewater plans, and other specifics, for example, are being studied in tandem with the Master Plan and will be addressed in more detail as the project progresses.

3) What Do You Think? - After reviewing the final draft plans, take our brief input survey. What factors may NOT have already been accounted for as the Town moves into the next phase of this project: a request for development proposals? Feedback will be incorporated into the final Master Plan, which is due to be presented to the Eastham Select Board in December. Take the survey here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/RLC9L8B

Based on this community feedback and further analysis, the Town will draft a Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit specific ideas from developers to make this vision a reality.

Have you taken the SECOND public survey for the North Eastham Master Plan?

On June 8, the Master Plan team - consisting of Town staff and representatives from Union Studio Architecture & Community Design and Horsley Witten Group, Inc. - held the second in a series of three public workshops on the Master Plan project. At this workshop, we introduced our "second draft" concepts for future use of Eastham's T-Time, Town Center Plaza, and COA properties.

The draft concepts incorporate the T-Time Committee's recommendations for each property, and provide more detailed visual layout options for the community to respond to.

We hope you will take a moment to review these "second draft" concepts and give your input through the survey! Note that if you already took our FIRST survey, you can take this one, too! It is a new survey that shows more detailed concepts, and all are invited to give input.

Wow, Eastham! We had an amazing time at today's Summer Kickoff & Ice Cream Social at T-Time! An estimated 350 attendees turned out to kick off the summer with free ice cream, field day games, face painting, music, and even an 80s themed costume contest!

On Wednesday, June 8, the Town held the second in a series of three public workshops on the North Eastham Village Center Master Plan project. For those unable to attend this workshop, there is an equivalent online option to participate and give input to the project team - on your own time! Here's how it works:

1) Visit the official project website at www.northeasthammasterplan.com view the June 8 workshop materials and review the more detailed, "second draft" concepts presented for T-Time, Town Center Plaza, and the COA property.

2) Keep in mind: While these schemes or concepts DO show a level of detail not seen in the first round of concepts presented through the May 11 workshop (buildings, roads, etc.), they are still conceptual in nature. They are not architectural renderings, and do not represent a final development plan for these properties. Instead, we are asking the community to look at the schemes and consider how well they align with the community vision identified through the T-Time Development Committee recommendations.

3) What Do You Think? - Once you’ve had a chance to review the second draft scenarios, take our brief input survey. What did we get right? What needs to be revisited or changed?

Stay Tuned! Based on community feedback and further analysis, the Town and Master Plan team will work to further develop these concepts for a final presentation, scheduled for October (date and time to be announced).
