Coming up this Saturday!!!

The Narrow Land Film Screening
Saturday May 30th @ 1 PM

Join us for a film screening of The Narrow Land, a film on Cape Cod’s housing crisis by Jaiden van Bork. The movie’s runtime is about 80 minutes and is open to all.

About the Film:
The Narrow Land examines both the mythology and reality of Cape Cod, seeking to unravel the difficult questions that face the coastal community today as it confronts a barrage of overtourism and a subsequent housing crisis that has left locals scrambling to keep their feet planted in the sand. Weaving a personal chronicle of childhood on Cape Cod with the voices of local artists, fishermen, and hospitality workers, the film channels the eerie realities of small town America, posing new questions about identity and memory.

Kim Moberg is a self-taught finger pick style guitarist with a voice that’s been described as “a blend of honey and whiskey.” Her original songs tell of heartbreak, healing and social consciousness. Her Indigenous (Alaskan Tlingit) roots inform her third album, “The Seven Fires Prophecy: Suite for Humanity” which ties the ancient Anishinaabe prophecy to our current social environment. Her latest release “All That Really Matters” addresses the arc of human emotion and experiences.
