Some members of Scout Troop 103 toured the library today. We showed them how we organized the books on our shelves. They learned how to look up books in the online card catalong and then find the books on the shelves. After that they each got to check out books to a patron (ok, I was the patron) and then they learned how to check books in and return the books to the appropriate shelf.

We really enjoyed helping members of Scout Troop 103 work on earning their Reading merit badge.

There is one more hour left to play mini golf at the library. We are here until 5:00 p.m. (Wednesday July 15th) There are 19 holes. The 19th hole play earns a stuffie.

Worried about starting childcare when your baby breastfeeds to sleep?
The good news is that you don't need to stop breastfeeding before daycare begins. Babies are incredibly adaptable and often learn to settle in different ways with different caregivers.
A gradual orientation period, introducing other settling methods, and building familiarity with carers can help make the transition smoother.
And don't be surprised if your little one happily settles at childcare but still wants a breastfeed and cuddle to sleep when they're home with you. ❤️
