Pursuant to Oconee Judicial Circuit’s Chief Superior Court Judge Sarah Wall, Probate Judge Al McCranie issued notice that non-essential functions have been suspended as of March 16, 2020, these include:
Weapons Carry Licenses
Marriage License Applications
Traffic Fines and court dates
as well as Elections.

Essential functions are as follows:
Order to Apprehend (10-13 Commitments)
Guardianship of Minors and Adults.

Vital Records can be requested by mail.

Birth and Death Records are $25, additional copies of the same record are an additional $5 each.
Certified copies of Marriage records can also be requested by mail at $10.
