Please remember the family, friends, and classmates as we mourn the loss of Juan Gay, one of our Dodge County High School students.

During this difficult time, we join together as a school community to support one another with compassion, kindness, and understanding. Our thoughts and prayers are with the student's family, and our colleagues, as they navigate the days ahead.

The strength of our Dodge County family has always been found in how we care for one another. May we honor this student's memory by offering comfort, support, and love to those who are hurting. In addition, we are wearing blue 💙 tomorrow to honor Juan’s memory.

Please keep the family, friends, and all members of our Dodge County High School community in your thoughts and prayers.

🍎 National Be A Teacher Day 🍎
Through FCCLA, we are celebrating National Be a Teacher Day on October 8th by encouraging our students to consider a career in education.
About a month ago, FCCLA asked teachers and staff to send in videos sharing their “why”—why they became teachers and what makes this career special to them.
This week, we’ll be sharing videos from our Primary, Elementary, Middle, and High Schools so students can hear from educators across all grade levels, no matter what age they may want to teach one day.
We’re starting with our Primary School! ❤️ Our youngest students are sharing what they think about teachers, along with staff sharing why teaching is so special to them.
We hope this week inspires some future teachers! 🍎

❤️ National Be A Teacher Day ❤️

We could not think of a more special way to end our week than with a message from a 98-year-old retired teacher.

After all these years, she still remembers her students and still remembers what it meant to teach them. She also served as a Spanish teacher and can still speak Spanish today! 🇪🇸

Her story is such a beautiful reminder that teaching stays with you. The lessons you teach, the relationships you build, and the lives you touch can make an impact that lasts a lifetime.

We hope her words encourage someone to become a teacher and experience the special impact this career can have. 🍎❤️

Once a teacher, always a teacher.
